Access Level 1
Designing and editing a database structure, inputting the records into computer.
Some computer experience is necessary for this course (9 Hrs.)

Access Level 2
Learn sub forms, customization, calculated controls, customizing reports and command buttons.
You must have computer experience for this course. (6 Hrs.)

Access Level 3
Prerequisite: Intro and Intermediate Access. Learn advanced sub forms, advanced customizing of reports, integration with Word and Excel.

Cameras and Computers (Level 1)
Learn how to save digital pictures, how to send and receive photos through email, and more. You do not need a camera to take this class

Cameras and Computers (Level 2)
Learn how to sort, edit and organize pictures on your computer, how to transfer your photos. You do not need a camera to take this course, but if you bring one bring your USB Cord.

Creating a Website in Just 1 Day
Learn how to design and build a website, using hyperlinks, publishing your website and more using Microsoft FrontPage.

Internet Basics 1
This class walks students though the basics of the Internet, including how to do a basic search, using Portals, Internet safety, how to do research, read online newspapers and more. It will also show you how to organize your favorite websites.

This class teaches students how to do a thorough Internet search, and provides many tips and tricks that you will find invaluable. Plenty of simple but practical exercises will help you remember what you learn.

For individuals who are getting started using a personal computer. You will learn how a PC works while incorporating the Windows 2000xp operating system.

Intro to Visual Basic
Visual basic is a RAD (Rapid Application Development) tool, that allows programmers to create Windows applications in very little time. This course is a basic overview of the program.

For people that are interested in knowing what podcasts and blogs are, how to find them and what they can be used for. We will discuss what you will need to listen to a podcast and what you will need to create a blog.

Medical Terms
This course is the basis that will simplify the process of learning hundreds of difficult medical terms. The student is expected to reinforce classroom instruction with additional practice on their own. This course is the prerequisite for the Medical Coding Course.

Smart Use of Email
Email and familiarity with the Internet are basic requirements this day and age for any job. Learn about email etiquette, automatic foldering, how to send and attachment , create distribution lists and more.

Create a Special Occasion Powerpoint
Do you want to create a holiday, graduation, or special occasion PowerPoint? Let us show you some ideas. If you have photos that you want to use, Please make sure that you can access them electronically. A travel drive will allow you to bring you work home, and is required for class.

Business Writing Basics
This course is an introduction to the neat and tidy world of business writing. Sharpen your written communication skills by learning easy self editing techniques. Participants must bring writing samples of the own composition (Memos, letters, minutes etc.) in order to get the full benefit of the class.

Vista
A demonstration of the New Operating system by Microsoft. Vista contains many changes and new features, including an updated graphical user interface, improved searching features, and increases security options. If you have purchased a new laptop and have the Vista Operating system you may bring your laptop to class and follow along with the demonstration.

Office 2007
A demonstration of the new Microsoft Office software. The 2007 versions makes use of a new interface called a ribbon and has traditional menu items grouped in a new arrangement. If you have purchased a new laptop, and have the Office 2007 installed on it, you may bring your laptop to class and follow along with the demonstration

HTML
HTML is an easy to learn language that is used to create web pages. In this course you will learn how to use the language to create a web page layout that includes images, hyperlinks, forms, tables and frames.

Dreamweaver
A program currently that is used to create the HTML needed to make a web page. It can hide the details of the HTML code used to create the page from the user, making it possible for non-coders to create web pages and sites.

Flash
A program that is used to create animation that can be imbedded into a web page. Simple moving words and objects will be created. It is recommended that participants take HTML and Dreamweaver prior to this course.

Cascading Styles (CSS)
This class will show how to change a web page using only HTML into one that uses cascading styles with HTML. Formatting has been done by HTML but now CSS is the standard.

JavaScript
A programming language that is used to make web pages appear interactive. This language is on the client’s machine and can makes pages change when a mouse passes over an image or word.

PC Trouble Shooting
(First Aid for your PC)
You don’t have to be a technical wizard to keep your PC in tip-top shape. In this class you’ll learn some simple procedures to help maintain your computer.
